Reuniting with Samson Jude!!

We arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia early Sunday morning (Feb. 20)... were driven to the Guest House to drop off our luggage... and taken to the transition house to get our boy!moments before he came out smiling with his sunglasses on!!

ran straight for me !! hugs for Mommy!

remembering Daddy! hugs to follow !!

meeting big brother Gabe!

then to pass out stickers... little dollies... cars (makenas!)... candy... necklaces to the other little children... photos to come!!

We are HOME!!

We are in Ethiopia with our sweet Samson Jude!!!
Can't upload photos though... there will be plenty when we return!!!

Three Years Ago to this very day...

Montie, Adeline, and Madison were on their way to ETHIOPIA to bring our little Solomon Natnael home!!
(we celebrated his special day actually a couple days early
as we're leaving today!!)

Solomon Natnael's GOTCHA DAY is Feb. 19, 2008
and
Samson Jude's GOTCHA DAY will be Feb. 20, 2011

HOW AMAZING IS THAT!!!!
Leaving today for ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We leave Friday Feb. 18th!!

PRAISE GOD from whom all Blessings Flow!!

we are headed to Ethiopia to get our boy!!

We will return home on Friday February 25th at 3:22 pm!!

An update before Monday's Auction...

we did NOT pass our embassy clearance

(this is to grant the visa to bring Samson Montie Couch- as courts deemed our son ~ yes we will rename him Samson Jude Couch!! the visa to bring him home)

the US embassy is requiring another document that the Ethiopian courts say 'NO' we will not give it...
this document is part of Samson's story and maybe we'll share some in time... but right now
we WAIT and PRAY and WAIT and PRAY...
knowing in our heads that GOD is the author of all and knows what is best...
but trying to tell our hearts it will all be okay???

Our friends that have become dear to our hearts ~ as they were with us in Ethiopia for the same court day ~ December 27 ~ have been given clearance to bring their precious children home. Each family will go this week and have promised to love on our Samson Jude!!

We can do nothing... but WAIT and PRAY and WAIT and PRAY ... and sew some!!

... in process to foster/adopt... lead to heartbreak... time..time..time.. and so had to update homestudy... and decided to also pursue an Ethiopian adoption...

...GOD had other plans!!

...within a matter of 2 weeks ...this family of FOUR grew to SEVEN!!

please meet Ayla (3), Zoe (9 mo), Elizabeth (5), Max (2), and Jackson (6)...

Growing SO fast and completely stepping out in faith ~ not much time to 'fund~raise'!! (as we met through POPPY DIP!!)


So thinking of Valentine's Day and LOVE... would you please step out and help this family as they live His calling ~ paying the huge loan that was needed to bring these little ones home!!
