THINK

As I sew, I have LOTS of time to THINK... and this evening I got a phone call from a new friend (through our African Fellowship Group) that spoke some kind and true words to me. It's amazing how it lifted my spirits, even in this most dreary rainy weather ... I'm not one to preach, as I tend to be very impulsive with my words and have to ask forgiveness many times for what I say! Another friend sent me this little reminder...
T - is it true?
H - is it helpful?
I - is it inspiring?
N - is it necessary?
K - is it kind?

James 1: 26-27
" If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."

Proverbs 15:23
" A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
And a word spoken in due season, how good it it!"

So remember when you speak... THINK!
